Drop dead gorgeous screened print dress by Alix of Miami. The cotton is polished and is a beautifully screened floral print that is still extremely vibrant and true - in fact this dress looks like it has never been worn! The braided piping detail that runs around the waist and adds to the illusion of a nipped in waistline is utterly fantastic. The interior construction is very well done - it has its own built in bra area so no additional underpinning is required there. I love the faux crossover bodice - it really is flattering and the dress is in beautiful condition.

Bust: 19" flat across the back from side seam to side seam

Bodice: approx 14" from top of shoulder to piping at the side of the waist
Skirt: approx 26" from piping on the side of the waist to bottom hem

The dress is fully lined in an off white cotton muslin. The bust has a built in cup area that is similar in construction to a swimsuit of this era. It closes with a back painted metal zipper. Note the inside bust sits a bit high as some of these 1950s pieces do - you could remove the interior cup if necessary.
