Treacy Lowe pieces are amongst my favorites. She was a designer that really designed around her chosen and custom fabrics. She had most of them made to her specification in India so when you find a piece they are not only one of a kind because they are vintage, but also because of the small runs of fabric that she used. This one is a cotton that has been dyed and woven so that it has an almost iridescent quality to it and the color and tonality changes dependent on the light. Onto this is trim work of a hand embroidered detailing. It has its original sash so you can wear it loose and easy as a caftan or cinch the waist for shape. I love the elaborately embroidered neckline! Excellent condition.
Unlined and closes with a back painted metal zipper. Original tie belt. 100% cotton. Slightly more pastel and softer color then shown.
